Game theory seminar

On Oct. 15, we will give a talk about dynamic pricing schemes at the Game Theory Seminar of the Corvinus University (Building C, Room 101, 2-3pm). Dynamic pricing was introduced as an alternative to posted-price mechanisms. In the dynamic setting, the prices can be updated between buyer-arrivals based on the remaining sets of items and buyers. In this talk, we focus on two subclasses of valuation functions, multi-demand and matroid rank valuations, and present efficient algorithms that determines the optimal dynamic prices in polynomial time.
