Goodbye 2024, welcome 2025!

The research group wrapped up 2024 with some great achievements. Tibor Jordán was awarded the prestigious Szele Tibor Memorial Medal in recognition of his outstanding work in mathematics and his support for young researchers. Tamás Schwarcz received the Grünwald Géza Prize for his exceptional contributions to pure mathematics and successfully defended his doctoral thesis. Starting in January, he will continue his research as a postdoctoral fellow at the London School of Economics. Kitti Varga was awarded the Farkas Gyula Memorial Prize for her outstanding achievements in graph theory and combinatorial optimization. Adding to the good news, Lydia Mirabel Mendoza Cadena secured a postdoctoral position at the Center for Mathematical Modeling, University of Chile.
