We have not reported on the events related to the research group for a while. Tamás Schwarcz and Péter Madarasi received scholarships in the New National Excellence Programme that supports the research activity and professional development of doctoral students and candidates showing outstanding academic performance. Bence Mátravölgyi got first prize at this year’s Scientific Students’ Associations Conference, where he gave a presentation on recent developments on the weighted exchange distance of basis pairs.
